About the hospital

The facility was opened before 2018 by James Kibugi. James Kibugi is a specialist in ultrasound. In addition to James Kibugi, a clinical officer (comparable to a junior doctor), two nurses and a laboratory technician work at Riversite Hospital.

James Kibugi has been committed to helping the disadvantaged population for many years. He is supported by the church community in Kangemi, among others.

In addition to the treatment of infectious diseases, childbirth and preventive medicine, the focus is on chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure and pain therapy for degenerative diseases.

Our help

We hold regular medical action days (medical camps) on site. Two doctors from Germany treat needy patients for two days free of charge. Around 300 women are treated at each camp, which take place twice a year. New from January 2022 is the “Sexual Reproductive Health” project. We are funding free cancer and prenatal care for indigent patients.
