Florence Kioko started in May 2019 Imela Medical Center. She is a Community nurse and was employed before she started Imela Medical Center. She does a lot of awareness work in Kayole, a small suburb area of Nairobi. She has developed a program to counsel in schools and in other community locations. Her focus is nutrition, hygiene, immunisation and reproductive health.
Imela Medical Center has a well-equipped pharmacy and three small treatment rooms. We supported a specialised childrens treatment room and medical equipment.
We run regularly 1-2 day medical camps where we treat underprivileged people for free. New from January 2022 is the program for sexual reproductive health. We support Counseling in schools, family planning and free ANC for needy patients.
